Three new SKUs land before breakfast. The German market is live. Titles stay English until someone hits Translate Missing. Shopify daily translation jobs are the Plus tier of OO - Ultimate AI Translations: a daily schedule, a timezone, content types. Professional is monthly. Free has no clock.
The earlier guide to scheduling automatic translations is the Jobs screen. This article is cadence: when $20 daily is the right buy, and when $10 monthly is enough.
Shopify Languages and Markets publish locales. They do not write product titles, theme strings, or metaobjects. New SKUs stay in the source language until a job or the editor takes them.
Listing (4 Nov 2026): 0 reviews, launched 14 October 2026. Do not invent stars. Free $0 — your own AI, unlimited languages/markets/translations, language switcher; no backups, no scheduled jobs, no App AI. Professional $10/month + usage — 1+1 backup, monthly jobs, glossary, App AI at translation cost (~$0.01/unit) or your own AI. Plus $20/month + usage — 5+5 backups, daily jobs, same unit price or your own AI. USD.
The listing bullet says daily, weekly or monthly jobs. The plan table is stricter: Professional = monthly, Plus = daily, Free = none. Do not sell daily on $10.
Jobs cover products, pages, theme content, metaobjects, including draft themes. Saved editor fields stay locked. Glossary and brand voice travel with the request. You style the switcher.
Expecting nightly runs on Professional. Paid is not daily. Listing: monthly. Week-two products stay English until the month tick — or until you run Missing by hand. Plus, or a manual job.
Laptop timezone. FAQ: enable the schedule on Jobs; check timezone, time, weekday / day-of-month; AI connected; at least one language and one content type. Shop in Europe/Amsterdam, schedule on New York, and the job already ran while you thought it was pending.
Missing on everything, night one. Thousands of fields at $0.01/unit if App AI is on. Start with Outdated after the first locale exists, or products only. Theme and metaobjects wait.
Daily on Free. Free has no scheduled jobs. Own AI can translate without a cap; you start the run. Daily is Plus.
None of that is: pick the plan for cadence, shop timezone, one content type, Outdated, leave locks on.
Jobs → enable schedule. Shop timezone. Time. Daily on Plus, monthly on Professional, plus weekday or day-of-month as the FAQ lists. Languages: published locales, not a tab Shopify has not published. Content types: products first.
AI: your OpenAI-compatible model, or App AI on paid plans at ~$0.01/unit — usage is pass-through. Plus does not discount the unit. Plus buys daily plus 5+5 backup slots.
Jobs skip empty source, locked fields, handles, URLs, IDs, SKUs, barcodes, size codes such as S/M/L, JSON. Skipped is not a failed translation. Unlock only when the job should rewrite that field.
Job history: translated / skipped / failed. A failed row is not a reason to unlock the catalogue.
Weekly appears in the listing bullet. Use it only if Jobs shows it on your plan. Do not invent a Free weekly cron.
“Beam Co” publishes luminaires daily. DE market. Source English. Professional monthly left titles in English between ticks. Tickets: “German listing?”
They moved to Plus $20. Jobs: daily, Europe/Berlin, 05:45, products, Missing + Outdated for DE. Own AI still connected; App AI off to avoid usage. Glossary: brand name never translated. Twenty locked titles stay locked.
Week one: history. Skipped = size codes and handles. Translated = titles and SEO descriptions. Theme job in week two, same clock, different content type — not one mega-run.
Backups: Plus 5+5. One automatic slot before the first daily. Restore is a different article; here it is the net if a run was too wide.
Switcher: app embed or theme block on the live theme. Unpublished German means shoppers never see the job.
The catalogue moves once a sprint. Professional $10, monthly, products, Outdated. Daily is noise and extra App AI units. Draft themes: translate them in a job you start, or on Plus daily if those drafts change overnight.
Pages and metaobjects do not belong in the same first run as products. One content type per schedule until history is clean. Then a second job, same timezone, different type.
Free remains the start: own AI, unlimited translations, switcher. No schedule. No hidden daily. Professional is the first clock. Plus is the morning clock.
Publish the language in Shopify. No locale, no job target.
Connect AI (your model, or App AI on a paid plan).
Lock one test field in the editor so you can see jobs skip it.
Jobs: enable schedule, shop timezone, Professional monthly or Plus daily, products, Outdated.
History the next morning: translated / skipped / failed. Only then add Missing or another content type.
Glossary before the first daily: brand names that must never change. Brand voice if DE came back too casual. A Plus backup slot before you open Missing.
Shopify daily translation jobs are Plus: $20/month + usage, daily schedule, timezone, content types, locks. Professional is monthly. Free has no clock. Jobs skip handles, SKUs and locked edits. App AI stays ~$0.01/unit, or you keep your own model.
Set the cadence in OO - Ultimate AI Translations before the German market spends three days on English titles.
