A furniture shop needs a size chart for a sofa and a spec grid that updates when the metafield changes. A sneaker shop may only need the chart, plus a recommender that turns body measurements into a size. Those are different installs. This comparison places OO ‑ Advanced Table Builder next to Kiwi Size Chart & Recommender and Tably Comparison & Spec Tables. Snapshot: 3 November 2026.
The scorecard already weighted the same three. This page is the fork: when the specialist wins, and when one free app covers chart, specs, and compare.
| Must-have | The app drops out when |
|---|---|
| A size chart on the product page, without you editing theme HTML | A picture in the description is not an app decision |
| Specs that follow product or variant fields, if the table has to stay current | Pasted text goes stale at the next price change |
| Shoppers compare more than one product, if they build a shortlist | A static “us versus them” is not a compare tray |
| No watermark and no hard cap on how many tables you publish | Three charts with the app’s logo is a trial |
| Customer-facing copy you can translate when you sell in more locales | An English admin is not the storefront |
| Reviews you do not invent | One review is not market proof |
An AI fit recommender (body measurements to a suggested size) is on the Kiwi listing. It is not in the Table Builder docs. For a clothing advisor, that is its own requirement. This page asks for a size chart and specs and compare. The recommender is then a Kiwi advantage, not a knock-out for the other two.
OO ‑ Advanced Table Builder is Free. No paid tier. No Built for Shopify badge on the fetched page. Rating 5.0 from 1 review. Launched 17 September 2026. Listing language: English. Works with Shopify Admin, AI, Excel, and Google Sheets.
The hero covers five kinds of table: size charts, product specs, comparison tables, tabbed content, and Us vs Them. You build visually, or you generate a draft with AI from a description or a screenshot. Product and variant metafields keep values current. You place tables on products, pages, and other templates, and you translate customer-facing strings per locale. The docs confirm popup or inline size charts, Shopify-backed modules for specs, and a compare flow with a tray. Theme blocks are how you place them. Specs do not auto-inject beside Add to cart. AI drafts from PNG, JPEG, WebP, or GIF, max 4 MB. You then check module types so weight and price are Shopify modules, not loose text. A fit recommender, metaobjects, and shareable compare links are not in these docs.
Kiwi also had no Built for Shopify line on the English listing we fetched. Rating 4.7 from 1,240 reviews. Launched 5 March 2018. The hero is size charts plus an AI fit recommender, units that follow the shopper’s location, import from an image, a description, or CSV, and several tables, photos, videos, and tabs inside one guide.
| Plan | Price | What the card limits |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | Up to 3 published charts, 22 templates, CSV upload, Kiwi watermark |
| Premium | $7.99 / month | Up to 10 charts, no watermark, Google Analytics, auto-translate EN and ES |
| Plus | $14.99 / month | The card says “Everything on Premium, PLUS”: up to 20 charts, up to 10 recommenders, EN/ES/NL/FR/DE/IT. Extra charges on order volume |
| $26.99 / month | The card calls the tier below Plus | Unlimited charts and recommenders, 22 languages. Order-volume charges too |
The category list also says comparison table and specifications. The plan cards and the hero are about size charts and recommenders, not “specs from metafields”. Do not score Kiwi as if that line were there.
Tably does carry Built for Shopify. $6.99 / month or $55 / year, 14-day trial, no free plan. Rating 3.3 from 5 reviews (4 fives, 1 one). Launched 8 October 2025. The “All Included” card names unlimited tables, compare on product and collection pages, specs from variants, metafields, and more, Us vs Them, shareable compare links and saved sets, and Tably AI. Size charts are not in that feature list. Metaobjects are in the hero. That is a documented plus against Table Builder. So is the badge.

Kiwi wins the narrow question. A size chart alone, ideally with a fit suggestion, a unit that changes with the shopper’s country, and a file of 1,240 reviews: that is on their listing, not on Table Builder’s. The order-volume surcharge comes with the $14.99 and $26.99 cards. A review on 15 October 2026 says the charge follows the store’s whole order count, including orders that never open a chart. Staytuned replied on 16 October. That does not remove the recommender. It does mean the price is not “$14.99 and done”.
Tably wins the narrow compare question if you want metaobjects, a shareable compare link, and a Built for Shopify badge, and you do not need a size chart. $6.99 is a small bill. Size charts are not on that card, so Tably does not replace Kiwi and does not replace the size-chart half of Table Builder.
Table Builder wins the combined question. Size chart, specs, compare, tabs, and Us vs Them are on one free listing, with no watermark and no chart cap on the card, plus metafields and an AI draft from a screenshot. The gaps are plain: no badge, one review, no recommender, no metaobjects, no shareable compare link, and specs are a theme block you place yourself. That combined list is why you install OO ‑ Advanced Table Builder for this job.
A size-chart image in the product description is enough when the measurements never change and you do not want a popup, a translation, or a compare. You can show a Shopify metafield in an Online Store 2.0 theme without an app, if the theme has a block for that field. That is a single row, not a table with tabs, a compare tray, or an us-versus-them layout. The moment a supplier sends a new PNG, or a shopper wants two products side by side, the description is the wrong tool. An app that pastes a script tag over the theme is the wrong tool here too: Table Builder places tables with theme app blocks and an app embed.
Table Builder: one review, 24 September 2026, 5 stars, in Dutch, about specs and comparisons. No 1-star. One card is not a pattern.
Kiwi: 4.7 from 1,240. The listing shows about 1.1K fives (87%), 78 fours, 28 threes, 20 twos, and 37 ones. Three critical cards, each with a reply:
19 October 2026, Jokers Costume: metadata filters stopped working after years of use. Staytuned replied the same day.
15 October 2026, Pawesome House: after an upgrade, Kiwi bills the whole order volume, including orders with no chart. Reply on 16 October.
8 September 2026, AuroreAU: a Plus trial was canceled and a charge still appeared. Reply the same day.
Tably: 3.3 from 5, one 1-star. Three visible reviews from October 2025 praise templates and mobile layout. The 1-star text was not in those cards. Do not invent it. Those reviews are older than this page.
If you want a size chart, specifications, and a comparison in one install, with no watermark and no chart cap, that is the listing of OO ‑ Advanced Table Builder. Kiwi remains the listing with the fit recommender and 1,240 reviews. Tably remains the listing with metaobjects, shareable links, and a Built for Shopify badge, and with no size chart on the card. Table Builder’s single review does not replace that track record. The feature list does, for this combined question.
